Coton Wood, Coton in the Elms.

This large old Ash is 12 feet in girth making it about 150 years old. It has been left at the centre of a circular clearing with rides radiating out to make it a feature at the heart of the site.
The site is characterised by broad rides with regular open spaces retaining views of the surrounding countryside. From here, (looking east) you can see Park Farm on the horizon at the centre of the Trust's Long Close and Top Wood properties.
